The Challenge

  • The client had switched ERP systems; as a result, several invoices had been processed on both systems and several had not been processed at all

  • It was to be an arduous task to reconcile the invoices on both systems, and the client lacked the resources to carry out the task

The Solution

  • Contractus acquired the necessary data from both systems and used it to provide the client with an analysis of processed/unprocessed invoices

  • We then approached suppliers for copies of the documents that were missing or processed incorrectly.

  • We provided these to the client for processing

The Result

  • During the process of reconciling the invoices on the two systems, we recovered all VAT on invoices not previously processed, resulting in a £2,300,000 cash benefit for the client

  • ERP transition was completed with the confidence that all historic invoices were correctly processed
